Senior Systems Administrator – Infrastructure

About the role

Join one of Quebec’s most technically solid Managed Service Providers as a Senior Systems Administrator. You will own client environments, drive infrastructure reliability, and mentor junior admins while enjoying full flexibility to work from home.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of SMB client infrastructures, ensuring reliability, security, and continuous optimization.
• Collaborate directly with clients and co‑managed internal IT teams to align solutions with business needs.
• Handle critical incidents, complex problems, and architecture challenges, prioritising real client impact.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation, with off‑hours support largely covered by the Philippines team.
• Coach and develop junior system administrators, contributing to technical standards and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a system administrator.
• Strong communication skills in French and English.
• Proactive attitude, ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Required skills

• Active Directory and Windows Server administration.
• Microsoft 365 and Exchange management.
• LAN/WAN networking, firewall and Wi‑Fi configuration.
• Virtualization technologies and cloud platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco, Dell and Fortinet equipment.
