Senior Software Engineering Manager

About the role

MEDFAR Clinical Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead its Platform Engineering function. You will own the health, output, and growth of core technical areas such as Cloud Engineering and Core Architecture, ensuring that internal product teams can deliver faster through reliable, reusable platform services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor senior technical contributors across Platform, SRE, and DevOps teams.
• Own hiring, onboarding, and performance management for the platform organization.
• Define and execute the roadmap for shared services, developer enablement tools, and cloud foundations.
• Balance strategic investments with operational needs, modernization, and technical debt reduction.
• Partner with product teams to remove friction and deliver reusable patterns that improve deployment speed.
• Oversee cloud spending (FinOps), vendor relationships, and compliance.
• Strengthen production readiness, IaC, backup/DR, and observability across Azure and AWS environments.
• Evolve incident response processes, define SLOs/SLIs, and ensure sustainable on‑call practices.
• Champion engineering standards for security, testability, and maintainability.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading platform‑focused engineering teams, including SRE and DevOps.
• Strong track record in hiring, mentoring, and performance management of senior technical staff.
• Ability to translate platform strategy into concrete delivery plans and measurable outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills for influencing both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
