Senior Software Engineer, Mobile

About the role

VIA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specialized in mobile development to design and deliver highly secure native applications that support critical missions worldwide. You will work on cutting‑edge products that combine agentic AI, zero‑trust identity, and quantum‑resistant data handling, ensuring both top‑notch security and seamless user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end development, testing, and deployment of native iOS (Swift) and Android applications.
• Maintain performance, troubleshoot issues, and guarantee compatibility across devices and OS versions.
• Architect and implement security‑focused features using native mobile security frameworks and secure storage technologies such as Secure Enclaves.
• Apply cryptographic principles for data protection and secure communication.
• Integrate VIA’s backend microservices and secure APIs into mobile app logic.
• Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and define mobile development best practices.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend engineers to ensure reliable, performant functionality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience shipping native mobile applications.
• Proven expertise in both iOS (Swift) and Android development.
• Hands‑on experience with native mobile security features and secure storage mechanisms.
