Senior Snowflake Developer

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Snowflake Developer to join our technical team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in architecting, implementing, and optimizing our data warehousing solutions to drive advanced analytics and business intelligence.

Main Missions

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data warehousing solutions using the Snowflake platform.
• Architect and optimize complex data models (Star and Snowflake schemas) to ensure high performance.
• Build and manage robust ETL/ELT pipelines using industry-standard tools to ensure seamless data flow.
• Optimize query performance, manage virtual warehouses, and implement effective clustering and micro-partitioning strategies.
• Implement data security protocols, including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and data sharing best practices.
• Collaborate with cloud infrastructure teams to integrate Snowflake with AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.

Profile sought

• 7 to 9 years of proven experience in data warehousing and analytics.
• Deep technical expertise in Snowflake architecture and its core features.
• Strong background in data modeling and performance tuning.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale data integration projects.
• Ability to work within modern DevOps and CI/CD frameworks.

Required Skills

• Advanced SQL (complex queries, views, stored procedures).
• Snowflake Expertise (Virtual Warehouses, Micro-partitions, Clustering, Data Sharing).
• ETL/ELT Tools (Informatica, Matillion, Airflow, or similar).
• Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Data Engineering practices (CI/CD, Git, RBAC, Data Security).
