Senior Mobile Engineer – Android (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose)

About the role

Circle Medical is looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to lead the Android app’s technical roadmap. You will work closely with designers, clinicians and other engineers to deliver secure, high‑performance features that improve patient access to primary care.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical direction of the Circle Medical Android app, ensuring stability, security and feature parity with iOS.
• Design, implement, test and maintain patient‑facing features with a focus on scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with design, product and clinical teams to create intuitive user experiences.
• Work alongside iOS and full‑stack engineers to deliver cross‑platform functionality.
• Maintain and improve the CI/CD pipeline for reliable weekly releases.
• Write HIPAA‑compliant code that safeguards patient and clinician data.
• Contribute to engineering culture, hiring and best‑practice adoption.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional experience as a Mobile Software Engineer with strong Android expertise.
• Proven track record of shipping and maintaining commercial Android applications at scale.
• Deep knowledge of Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, with experience migrating legacy XML/View screens.
• Solid understanding of modern architectures such as MVVM and reactive programming.
• Experience with Dagger for dependency injection.
• Commitment to testing, quality and engineering best practices.
• Strong eye for clean, user‑friendly Android design and UX.
• Comfort using AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) in daily workflow.
