About the role

The Senior Manager, Athlete Marketing will shape and execute Red Bull’s national athlete marketing strategy, aligning it with global brand objectives and regional market needs. This senior position leads a portfolio of high‑profile athletes and partners with teams, leagues, and federations to amplify the Red Bull brand across Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and communicate a national athlete marketing strategy that supports global goals and regional nuances.
• Design efficient execution models for marketing activations, content creation, and media opportunities.
• Lead concept creation from ideation through implementation, collaborating with Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Operations.
• Identify emerging sports trends, new playgrounds, and media rights opportunities to expand Red Bull’s presence.
• Manage and diversify the national athlete portfolio, negotiating contracts and providing tailored support.
• Oversee athlete branding guidelines, logistics, and communication via Red Bull Sportsnet.
• Own budget and brand appearance for national athlete activities while ensuring compliance with international standards.
• Coach and mentor Athlete Marketing Managers and Specialists.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in athlete or sports marketing.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate global objectives into local actions.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship‑building skills with athletes, agents, and media partners.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing teams and budgets.
• Ability to identify and act on sports trends and innovative marketing opportunities.
