About the role

Join the maintenance team at a renowned Relais & Châteaux inn on Vancouver Island. As a Senior Maintenance Technician you will ensure guest areas and grounds are kept to the highest standards while supporting sustainability and hospitality excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance of guestrooms and public spaces.
• Handle landscaping duties and general grounds work.
• Execute project work such as painting, carpentry, and equipment upkeep.
• Maintain interior and exterior building elements.
• Follow a schedule‑based preventative maintenance program.
• Service the bicycle fleet and other equipment.
• Restore and repair furniture as needed.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions, often on short notice.

Required profile

• Physically capable of heavy lifting and outdoor work in any weather.
• Strong guest‑service orientation with ability to interact courteously with guests.
• Experience in a hospitality or property‑maintenance environment.
