Senior Controller – Financial Services Platform

About the role

Camino is partnering with a fast‑growing, PE‑backed financial services platform to hire a Controller at a pivotal stage of its growth. The role will support a high‑retention, mission‑critical business that is entering an active M&A phase, offering a senior, high‑impact opportunity to shape the finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process across multiple entities.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
• Lead multi‑entity consolidation and ensure reporting accuracy across the group.
• Support M&A activity from due diligence through post‑acquisition integration.
• Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial documentation.
• Lead the external audit process and act as the primary point of contact for auditors.
• Partner with tax advisors to ensure compliance across all relevant jurisdictions.

Required profile

• CPA qualified with 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Prior experience owning the close and financial reporting in a multi‑entity environment.
• Exposure to M&A transactions and integration.
• Experience in a PE‑backed or high‑growth business preferred.
• Hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and comfortable building and improving processes.
• Strong communicator able to work cross‑functionally with senior stakeholders.
