Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting & Analysis

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our insurance services provider team. The role focuses on financial reporting, analysis, and contractor billing across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements for stand‑alone entities, including supporting working papers.
• Analyze balance‑sheet and income‑statement accounts, investigate variances, and post journal entries, accruals and provisions.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations across multiple entities and manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Support the year‑end audit process and respond to auditor requests.
• Conduct gross‑margin and client/program profitability analysis, monitor revenue and expense trends, and provide insights to leadership.
• Prepare contractor payout processing for CRU Canada and CRU USA, handle related inquiries, and ensure accurate and timely billing and payments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum three years of relevant accounting experience.
