Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Manager – North America

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Manager to lead our North American SEO and GEO programs while supporting global initiatives. The role requires a data‑driven leader with deep technical and content SEO expertise, capable of driving organic growth across retail, eCommerce, or finance/insurance businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all in‑house SEO and GEO programs for North America and collaborate with international teams on global SEO initiatives.
• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new SEO/GEO opportunities to fuel business growth.
• Coach and develop the SEO team, establishing prioritization frameworks and removing cross‑functional blockers.
• Manage day‑to‑day SEO/GEO operations, maintain technical backlogs, and track delivery across technical and content pipelines.
• Own end‑to‑end reporting, analyze traffic, rankings, conversions, and present executive‑level insights.
• Coordinate GEO/SEO content strategy with Marketing, Publishing, and Social teams, ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Maintain and govern SEMRush workspaces, keyword sets, and other enterprise‑grade SEO tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 + years of SEO experience at an enterprise level in Retail, eCommerce, or Finance/Insurance.
• 3‑5 years of experience leading teams or managing projects.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable organic business results.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
