SAP Tax Senior Analyst

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Tax Senior Analyst to join our Advanced Technology Centers team in Montreal. You will leverage deep knowledge of SAP FI Taxes and the broader SAP FICO suite to design and implement tax solutions that align with SAP S/4HANA capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze current tax processes and design future‑state business and system solutions.
• Assess integration of the existing model with SAP S/4HANA, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Gather detailed business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Support tax‑related integrations across AP, AR, GL and cross‑functional areas using SAP FICO expertise.
• Produce comprehensive documentation for process design, system configuration, and integration needs.
• Utilize analytical tools to uncover insights, trends and opportunities for process improvement.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement solutions and ensure alignment with financial operations.
• Assist with testing, deployment and post‑go‑live stabilization of tax processes.
• Continuously seek automation and optimization opportunities for tax processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 12 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP FI Taxes (FI‑AP/AR) and strong working knowledge of SAP FICO.
• Proven experience analyzing and defining tax‑related business processes.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical designs.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to engage stakeholders.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly advantageous.
