About the role
Splunk is looking for a remote Sales Development Representative to join its Digital Sales organization in Canada. The role focuses on generating qualified opportunities for strategic, enterprise and mid‑market customers by working closely with sales teams and leveraging Splunk’s technology portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute prospecting strategies tailored to specific accounts or territories.
- Collaborate with sales colleagues to build pipeline within the assigned region.
- Design and run outbound campaigns, contributing to the existing campaign library.
- Conduct cold outreach to existing customers and new prospects to introduce Splunk solutions.
- Identify relevant initiatives within target accounts and articulate how Splunk can address them.
- Maintain and update account plans, territory segmentation and pipeline metrics.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year of experience in selling or pipeline generation for technology solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to assess prospect needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and tracking key activity signals.
