Restaurant Manager

About the role

A&W Restaurants is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our Bay Centre Food Court location in Victoria, BC. You will be responsible for delivering a consistent, high‑quality guest experience while driving profitability and team development.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, balancing food quality, speed of service, guest experience and cost control.
• Manage weekly P&L performance, including cost of goods, labour and operating expenses.
• Maintain A&W operational standards, conduct performance reviews and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC, public health and provincial employment regulations.
• Develop staff schedules to meet labour targets and support smooth operations.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs to keep facilities in optimal condition.
• Foster a positive workplace culture and monitor health‑safety and food‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a restaurant or food‑service operation.
• Strong leadership and people‑development skills.
• Ability to analyze financial reports and drive cost‑saving initiatives.
• Knowledge of health, safety and employment regulations in British Columbia.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
