Reliability Engineer – Maintenance Team (Building & Equipment)

About the role

The Reliability Engineer will join the Maintenance Team responsible for building and equipment reliability. You will use data‑driven methods to improve asset performance, reduce downtime, and support safe, efficient production.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze maintenance data to identify trends, root causes and propose sustainable solutions.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans based on manufacturer recommendations and best practices.
• Assess risk and criticality of failures, prioritising interventions that impact safety, production and cost.
• Coordinate with production, engineering and procurement to embed reliability into design and planning.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance efficiency and system performance.
• Provide training and awareness to teams on preventive and predictive maintenance tools.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as MTBF, MTTR and equipment availability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or technical field.
• Minimum five years of experience in an industrial environment.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and project‑management abilities.
• Knowledge of safety standards and industrial regulations.
• Ability to simplify and communicate complex concepts effectively.
• Customer‑service mindset with a focus on reliability outcomes.

Required skills

• Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), preferably Maximo.
