QE/DevOps Engineer (Hybrid) – Toronto, ON

About the role

We are looking for a QE/DevOps Engineer to join our Toronto team on a hybrid schedule (4 days onsite per week). The role combines quality engineering, test automation, and cloud infrastructure responsibilities to ensure fast, reliable releases of our AI‑enabled services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for both frontend and backend applications using tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Develop automated test frameworks for UI, API, and performance testing with Selenium, Playwright, and Cypress.
• Architect and manage a scalable compute fabric on Kubernetes and Docker to run OCR and AI workloads.
• Ensure high availability of services on AWS, leveraging EC2, Lambda, ECS, and S3.
• Implement observability solutions with Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and logging pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve release quality and deployment velocity.
• Manage infrastructure as code and define deployment strategies.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools and container orchestration.
• Proven ability to design distributed, scalable systems.
• Solid understanding of cloud services, especially AWS.
• Experience in test automation and performance testing.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and communicate with cross‑functional teams.
