Public Relations Account Coordinator

About the role

Pomp & Circumstance is looking for a resourceful and dynamic multi‑tasker to join the team as a Public Relations Account Coordinator. You will provide entry‑level support across several client accounts, handling client coverage reports, media list development, media relations support and creation of media materials.

Key responsibilities

• Assist multiple client teams in media relations and execution of PR programs.
• Monitor, track and report media coverage for multiple clients.
• Develop media and influencer lists and pitch effectively to achieve program results.
• Negotiate influencer contracts and seed influencers for campaign initiatives.
• Develop press releases, media advisories, key messages and editorial calendars.
• Attend and take notes at internal and client meetings.
• Prepare meeting schedules and call agendas for clients.
• Track hours and expenses.
• Participate in weekly status updates.

Required profile

• Postgraduate degree in public relations, marketing communications, journalism, business or a related field.
• At least 1 year of directly related experience, preferably in an agency environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on technical and creative writing.
• Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple projects within set deadlines.
