About the role
Our client, an engineering‑driven organization in the machinery manufacturing sector, is seeking a Project Manager to lead customer projects from initiation to completion. The role is hybrid, based in Blainville, and reports directly to senior leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Lead multiple customer projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Coordinate technical and commercial activities, including specification reviews, technical documentation, and proposal support.
- Oversee project documentation, design layouts, and engineering modifications.
- Manage the submittal process from purchase order to equipment installation, commissioning, and close‑out.
- Provide technical support for equipment installation, start‑up, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
- Define project scope, material requirements, and manufacturing deliverables.
- Negotiate pricing and procurement terms with suppliers and partners.
- Facilitate cross‑functional communication among Engineering, Customer Support, Sales, Operations, and external stakeholders.
- Maintain organized project tracking systems and ensure regulatory compliance.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- 5+ years of project management experience in engineering, manufacturing, industrial, or technical environments.
- Proven experience managing large‑scale or complex technical projects.
Required skills
- Proficiency with MS Project.
- Experience using ERP systems.
