Program Manager

About the role

The Program Manager provides leadership and operational oversight for the Portfolio Management Foundation (PMF) and Women+ in Finance Training (SWIFT) programs at UBC Sauder. This role ensures smooth financial administration, effective student and program leadership, and strong collaboration with internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all operational aspects of the PMF and SWIFT programs, including budgeting, financial reporting, and administrative processes.
• Manage relationships with internal UBC Sauder units and external stakeholders to support program objectives.
• Oversee student leadership activities and ensure alignment with program goals and university policies.
• Maintain and improve program systems, documentation, and compliance procedures.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership on program performance and financial status.

Required profile

• Proven experience in program management, preferably in an academic or finance‑focused environment.
• Strong background in financial administration and budgeting.
• Excellent organizational and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
