Plant Maintenance Superintendent

About the role

We are seeking a Plant Maintenance Superintendent to oversee the safe and efficient operation of our rural manufacturing facility. The role involves supervising maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect to ensure safe working conditions are maintained.
• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot process equipment and instrumentation.
• Lead a small team with minimal supervision.
• Manage handling of heavy loads and ensure physical safety.
• Coordinate with production to minimize downtime.

• Good judgement, positive attitude, and punctuality.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
