Pharmacy Manager

About the role

Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead pharmacy operations across its Canadian locations. The role focuses on delivering accurate, timely medication services while fostering a positive customer experience and supporting the health‑and‑wellness philosophy of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and direct pharmacy staff, including hiring and performance management.
• Ensure financial and operational success of the pharmacy department.
• Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and promptly.
• Maintain adequate inventory of prescription drugs and over‑the‑counter supplements.
• Counsel patients on medication use with a friendly, proactive approach.
• Organize public‑health initiatives, clinics, and other community outreach activities.
• Address patient and physician inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor budgeted sales, net contribution, and identify sales opportunities.
• Control costs and manage expenses within the pharmacy dispensary.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a valid Class A Pharmacist licence.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a retail pharmacy environment.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven people‑management skills with the ability to motivate and coach staff.
