Painter – Night Shift

About the role

Join Safran Landing Systems in Mirabel to perform painting operations on large landing‑gear components for major aircraft programs. You will work the night shift in a state‑of‑the‑art paint booth, ensuring each part meets strict aerospace quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and mask components according to engineering drawings.
• Apply paint using a spray gun in a controlled paint booth environment.
• Place painted parts in an oven for drying and curing.
• Inspect finished parts for compliance with specifications.
• Complete required Quality Assurance documentation.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost, and on‑time delivery.

Required profile

• Diploma of Vocational Studies in Bodywork, automotive painting skill cards, AEP in industrial or aeronautical painting, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a spray painter.
• Ability to read and interpret technical plans.
• Good manual dexterity and basic computer knowledge.
• Attention to detail, rigor, and ability to work autonomously and in a team.

• Night‑shift schedule: Monday‑Friday 12:10 AM – 6:40 AM (shift changes possible per collective agreement).
• Hourly wage $30.13 – $43.60 (CAD) with potential increase up to $47.32 as skills develop.
