About the role
Canada Post is seeking an on‑call Post Office Assistant for a term position in Wildwood, Alberta. The role focuses on delivering friendly, customer‑focused counter services while handling mail processing tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Sell postal products and services to the business community and the public.
- Sort, distribute and process mail into appropriate classifications.
- Provide customers with information, forms and assistance.
- Address delivery and service issues promptly and resolve problems.
Required profile
- High school diploma or provincial equivalent, or relevant business administration experience.
- Experience interacting with the public in a retail or service environment, including sales and cash handling.
- Physical ability to lift mail containers up to 50 lb, push/pull boxes, sort mail and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work temporary, on‑call shifts.

- Hourly wage of $20.54 (CAD) on an on‑call basis.
