Music Lessons Teacher (Independent Contractor)

About the role

Long & McQuade is seeking experienced music teachers to join its on‑site Lesson Centres as independent contractors. You will deliver private or group lessons across a range of instruments, helping students of all ages develop their musical abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality instruction in piano, guitar, bass, drums, woodwinds, brass, strings, and voice.
• Prepare and follow standard lesson curricula tailored to individual student needs.
• Maintain a professional and engaging learning environment during weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.
• Track student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.

Required profile

• Possess a music degree or diploma from a recognized university or college, OR a minimum Grade 8 RCM standing with Grade 2 Rudiments professional equivalency.
• Demonstrated teaching experience with students of various ages.
• Familiarity with standard teaching methods and lesson planning for private or group settings.
