Mid-Level Technical Designer (Revit, Enscape)

About the role

Gensler is seeking a Mid-Level Technical Designer to join its Toronto studio. You will blend creativity with technical expertise to produce accurate construction documentation and compelling visualizations for a variety of architectural projects.

Key responsibilities

• Create precise Revit models and contract documentation for construction.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure design intent is reflected in plans, specifications, and material selections.
• Support construction administration, including bid evaluation, site visits, and quality control.
• Collaborate with consultants, contractors, fabricators, and regulatory agencies to meet project goals.
• Develop 3D renderings using Enscape (preferred) to communicate design concepts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including work on ground‑up or transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, zoning, materials, specifications, and construction techniques.
• Demonstrated commitment to sustainable design practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Experience with Enscape for real‑time rendering.
• Skilled in Bluebeam Revu.
• Competent with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).

• Base salary range $72,500 – $90,000 CAD, plus two annual bonuses.
