Mechanical Assembler

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team at CMP, a leading provider of mechanical enclosure systems in Canada. The role involves assembling mechanical components and systems in a fast‑paced, safety‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and build mechanical systems using step‑by‑step work instruction software.
• Install fasteners, hardware, and sealants according to specifications.
• Perform self‑inspection and quality checks as required.
• Prepare finished products for shipment.
• Enter production data into the computer system.
• Carry out additional tasks related to the manufacturing process as assigned.

Required profile

• Experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
• Competency with pneumatic and electric tools.
• Ability to lift metal pieces up to 50 lb.
• Positive attitude, adaptability and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong manual dexterity, meticulousness and resourcefulness.
