Manager – Operations & Sales

About the role

The Manager will lead a large subset of sales or operations activities, or a specialized support function, within Desjardins. You will be responsible for administering the service offering, developing and executing the business plan, and aligning activities with the organization’s strategic direction while ensuring member and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Support the immediate supervisor with work organization, operational planning, and special initiatives.
• Develop, implement, and track the unit’s action plan, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Establish management and communication practices that promote change management, talent attraction, retention, skill development, employee engagement, and diversity.
• Define and oversee the implementation of unit services and projects to achieve business results and client satisfaction.
• Manage individual and team performance to support the administrative unit’s action plan.
• Continuously improve processes under your responsibility.
• Represent Desjardins Group’s cooperative values and conduct business intelligence activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum nine years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience).
• Fluency in French.
• Proven ability to make high‑quality decisions, develop talent, drive results, and lead teams.
• Understanding of trade‑union environments (if applicable).
