About the role
Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame is seeking a Manager, Integrated Communications & Events to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of major national initiatives over a six‑month period. The role will focus on the Order of Sport Awards and other high‑profile events, ensuring a polished experience for Hall of Famers, partners, sponsors, media and distinguished guests across Canada.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end planning and execution of the Order of Sport Awards and other national events.
- Coordinate logistics, venue selection, production, and on‑site management for events in multiple provinces.
- Develop and implement integrated communications strategies to promote events and engage stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with partners, sponsors, media representatives and internal teams.
- Travel within Canada as required to oversee event sites and meet with stakeholders.
- Ensure all deliverables meet high standards of professionalism, organization and brand consistency.
Required profile
- Highly organized, proactive and execution‑focused professional.
- Thrives in fast‑paced environments and can move complex projects from planning through execution.
- Strong planner, communicator, writer and stakeholder manager.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and timelines.
- Experience delivering national‑level events for nonprofit or cultural organisations.
