Maintenance Attendant

About the role

Join a small, dedicated team at a hotel where you will ensure that all building systems run smoothly and guest requests are addressed promptly. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will perform a variety of hands‑on tasks to keep the property safe, functional, and welcoming.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections of equipment and building components.
• Participate in preventive building maintenance procedures.
• Perform daily interior and exterior maintenance work and record activities in the schedule.
• Report defective systems, make corrections, and follow service manuals.
• Assist with moving, lifting, and placing objects up to 100 lb, including using stairs, ramps, or ladders.
• Maintain mechanical components of the building under supervision.
• Carry out minor electrical tasks such as replacing light bulbs.

Required profile

• Experience in building maintenance.
• High school diploma; college diploma in mechanical building technology is an asset.
• Good physical condition, able to handle labor‑intensive duties.
