Long Haul Truck Driver

About the role

We are seeking a reliable long haul truck driver to transport goods across international routes. The role involves delivering cargo safely, maintaining vehicle condition, and providing professional customer service at various locations.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload goods and secure cargo with tarping.
• Obtain special permits and required documentation for international transport.
• Inspect vehicle components such as tires, lights, brakes, cold‑storage units and perform emergency roadside repairs.
• Conduct pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip inspections and record cargo details, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
• Maintain professionalism in customer interactions and ensure cargo safety and security.

Required profile

• Valid Class 1 or Class A driver’s licence.
• Air Brake (Z) endorsement.
• Ability to obtain and manage transport permits and related documents.
• Knowledge of driver logbooks and documentation procedures.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass security and safety checks.
