Global PMO Director

About the role

MineSense is seeking an experienced Global PMO Director to lead complex, customer‑facing programs that deliver sensor and digital technology solutions to mining sites worldwide. Based in Vancouver, you will partner with Business Development and cross‑functional teams to turn customer commitments into executable projects, manage risks, and ensure transparent reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of programs from pursuit through delivery and ramp‑up, primarily across North and South America with global expansion.
• Partner with Business Development at initial customer engagement and coordinate delivery, data integration, and post‑installation monitoring with Field Services.
• Establish and maintain a results‑driven reporting process that tracks performance, progress, and outcomes.
• Provide accurate, timely status, risk, and value delivery reports to Executive Leadership.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Data, Operations, Finance, and other functions to resolve issues and achieve customer excellence.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high‑performing global team of project and program managers.
• Champion best practices, process improvements, and project management methodologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, a technical field, business, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of program management experience, including at least 5 years leading teams.
• Proven success delivering hardware and software solutions in large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Extensive experience in customer engagement and partnership with Business Development.
• Strong senior leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
