Financial Analyst - FP&A

About the role

BrightPath Kids is seeking a Financial Analyst to support its Canadian Government funding operations. You will work closely with all departments, senior leadership and the Board to deliver accurate financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the annual budgeting process and align it with strategic goals.
• Perform month‑end variance analysis, monitor KPIs and provide commentary.
• Prepare and present monthly financial results to the Board of Directors.
• Lead process‑improvement projects to automate financial reporting.
• Extract and analyze data using NetSuite, Day Care Works and other ERP tools.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of experience as a Financial Analyst in FP&A.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Interest in or pursuit of a CPA designation.
• Experience with childcare or government funding is a plus.
• Highly organized, able to work under pressure and strong written communication.
