About the role

Join Canada's Wonderland as a Walk‑About Character, delivering memorable experiences to guests throughout the park. This part‑time contract role involves performing in a costume, interacting with visitors of all ages, and upholding the park’s entertainment standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the appearance of assigned character costume and props, performing minor repairs as needed.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to create lasting memories.
• Participate in daily physical warm‑ups and adhere to all safety standards.
• Assist fellow characters and escorts with costume care and backstage duties.
• Perform assigned tasks such as cleaning break rooms, backstage areas, and attending meetings.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions while wearing the costume.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 15 years.
• Height between 4'8" and 5'2".
• Dependable, team‑oriented attitude.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions while wearing a costume.
