Early Childhood Educator (Level 1) – St. Albert

About the role

Kepler Academy is seeking Level 1 Early Childhood Educators for its St. Albert centre. You will join a fast‑growing, premier childcare facility that embraces modern, child‑led learning approaches such as Exploratory Education™, STEM, and discovery‑based activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver age‑appropriate programmes that nurture physical, cognitive, emotional and social growth.
• Lead daily activities including storytelling, songs, games, arts, dramatic play, music and physical exercise.
• Plan and maintain a safe, healthy environment that protects children’s well‑being.
• Observe and assess each child’s abilities, interests and needs, communicating progress to parents and staff.
• Prepare reports on learning or behavioural observations for families and team members.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for early childhood education and supporting families.
• Commitment to creating an enriching, child‑centred experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Facilitate storytelling, music, art and physical activities.
• Organise and implement structured childcare programmes.
• Maintain health, safety and security standards in a childcare setting.
