Data Entry Clerk

About the role

The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre is seeking a Data Entry Clerk to support clinical research studies within the Cardiac Electrophysiology program. This temporary part‑time position involves accurate data handling, document management, and compliance with protocol and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Enter study data according to protocol and ensure accuracy.
• Follow up on data requests and resolve inconsistencies.
• Maintain compliance with protocol guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Provide weekly status updates to the supervisor.
• Assist with packaging, mailing, and formatting of study documents.
• De‑identify and upload study documents to the sponsor’s Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor or delegate.

Required profile

• DEC in Science (or equivalent).
• Advanced oral and written French and English.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical research processes.
• Detail‑oriented, autonomous, and well‑organized.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

What we offer

• Temporary part‑time contract (21 hours per week).
• Variable schedule with on‑site work at MGH, 1650 Cedar Ave.
• Hourly wage ranging from $19.70 to $29.54 (CAD).
• Three days of paid sick leave.
