Customer Service Officer I

About the role

The Customer Service Officer I will be the first point of contact for clients in St. John's, delivering legendary service and supporting the bank’s credit and relationship management processes. This role focuses on meeting performance targets, facilitating customer requests, and promoting TD’s suite of banking products.

Key responsibilities

• Meet or exceed CSO LEI targets and contribute to unit performance.
• Facilitate customer requests by coordinating with partners such as CCSC, Visa, and Retail Bank, ensuring smooth hand‑offs and follow‑up.
• Provide day‑to‑day administrative support, answering questions and escalating issues to Relationship Managers or Account Managers as needed.
• Identify, recommend, and refer appropriate TD Business Banking products to existing and new customers to drive revenue and retention.
• Support internal projects and understand how changes impact customers’ businesses.
• Assist Relationship Managers/Analysts with credit administration, including document collection and system uploads.
• Cross‑sell products and services during customer interactions and refer customers to other business partners.

Required profile

• Experience in a customer‑service or banking environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships across the organization.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage documentation and credit‑administrative tasks.
• Motivation to meet performance targets and continuously improve the customer experience.
