Casual Part-Time Pharmacist – Health Network

About the role

Lakeridge Health is seeking a casual, part‑time pharmacist to join its Pharmacy Services team across the Bowmanville and Port Perry sites. You will provide direct patient care, resolve medication‑related issues, and support the hospital’s drug distribution system.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and resolve drug‑related problems for patients.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver patient‑centered medication therapy.
• Conduct medication reconciliation and patient education.
• Teach pharmacy students and provide drug‑information education to nursing and medical staff.
• Support safe and efficient drug distribution processes.

Required profile

• Current registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (Part A).
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, clinical guidelines, and lab value interpretation.
• Excellent clinical assessment and medication‑counseling abilities.
• Effective communication, organizational, and interprofessional teamwork skills.
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred and a satisfactory performance record.
