Anaplan Consultant – Techno‑Functional Role

About the role

ITC Infotech is looking for a highly skilled Techno‑Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Anaplan. The successful candidate will blend hands‑on model building and testing with a solid understanding of enterprise planning processes, data flows, and integration points.

Key responsibilities

• Review business requirements and user stories to design comprehensive test scenarios.
• Validate Anaplan modules, lists, hierarchies, actions, and processes.
• Test model‑to‑model, model‑to‑data hub, and model‑to‑target system integrations using Anaplan Connect, APIs, Airflow, etc.
• Perform regression, UAT, and performance testing on planning cycles and connected workflows.
• Lead end‑to‑end QA strategy, maintain test plans, traceability matrices, execution reports, and defect logs.
• Collaborate with product owners, planners, data engineers, and developers to ensure high‑quality releases.
• Drive quality reviews, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of planning processes such as FP&A, supply‑chain, workforce, or sales planning.
• Ability to translate business rules into test cases and validate model behavior.
• Experience with data quality frameworks and analytics platforms.

Required skills

• Anaplan model building (L3+), formulas, actions, imports/exports, ALM, UX testing.
• QA testing of functional and technical aspects, APIs, data ingestion, scheduled jobs.
• Tools: Jira, AWS, ALM, GitHub, SharePoint, Teams.
• Cloud platforms: Snowflake, Azure, AWS (certifications preferred).
• Programming: Python, PyTest, Postman, Selenium.
• Analytics: Power BI, Tableau.
