About the role
We are looking for an Operations Officer II to support back‑office financial operations for a leading financial institution. The role focuses on managing Registered Retirement Plan (RRSP) transactions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and handling internal partner requests through Salesforce.
Key responsibilities
- Process and manage RRSP transactions in line with CRA guidelines.
- Handle withdrawal requests, ensuring accurate tax and compliance processing.
- Respond to internal partner requests via Salesforce while meeting SLA targets.
- Perform back‑office operational tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure seamless processing.
- Utilise Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) for reporting and tracking.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and internal standards.
Required profile
- 2–4 years of experience in banking or financial institutions.
- Strong background in compliance‑related activities and back‑office operations.
- Familiarity with RRSP processes and CRA guidelines is an asset.
- Exposure to Salesforce is highly preferred.
- University degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Shift hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
