About the role
We are seeking a professional Administrative Assistant to join our architecture and design firm in Bathurst. The role supports daily office operations, ensuring smooth communication and efficient workflow for architects, project managers, and clients.
Key responsibilities
- Greet clients, answer phone calls and manage email correspondence.
- Maintain calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
- Prepare, proofread, and format administrative documents and project proposals.
- Track files, communications, and perform data entry with both digital and paper filing systems.
- Assist with invoicing, payments, and basic bookkeeping tasks.
- Order office supplies and liaise with vendors.
- Provide general support to architects and project managers on various administrative tasks.
- Perform any other duties that contribute to the efficient operation of the office.
Required profile
- Excellent organizational abilities with strong prioritization skills.
- Professional demeanor, discretion, and the ability to work independently.
- Team‑oriented attitude and strong initiative.
- Proficiency in both French and English is preferred.
Required skills
- Microsoft Office suite – Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with Sage 50 accounting software (preferred).

- Competitive hourly wage ranging from $23 to $34 based on experience.
- 2 weeks of vacation, increasing with tenure.
