Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a full‑stack Software Engineer to join Nox Metals in Windsor, Ontario. You will help build and ship the core applications that power our metal supply chain, using modern TypeScript‑based technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop full‑stack features across NOX NEST, WAYNE and Gondor using TypeScript, NestJS, React and Supabase.
• Own the end‑to‑end delivery of features, from database schema to API, UI and deployment.
• Collaborate directly with operators, schedulers and supply‑chain teams on the shop floor.
• Replace manual processes with software solutions and reduce operational friction.
• Implement real‑time ML and AI capabilities such as demand intelligence and AI parsing of sales orders.
• Maintain production systems, monitor performance and quickly resolve issues.

Required profile

• Open to new graduates or experienced engineers.
• Strong focus on shipping working code quickly rather than perfecting it.
• Customer‑obsessed mindset; code directly impacts factory operations.
• High agency and willingness to handle large tasks independently.
• Low ego, ready to do unglamorous work and support teammates.
• Flexible to work outside normal hours when customer demand requires.
