Mobile Developer (React Native)

About the role

Webisoft is seeking a React Native Engineer to join its growing team and create high‑performance mobile applications for iOS and Android. The role is remote‑first, with an office in Montreal for those nearby.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex cross‑platform mobile apps using React Native.
• Integrate native modules and third‑party libraries, and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Work with REST APIs, authentication flows, and state‑management solutions such as Redux or Zustand.
• Handle app lifecycle, UI/UX best practices, and deployment to the App Store and Google Play.
• Collaborate with backend developers and follow software‑development best practices (Git, CI/CD, documentation).

Required profile

• Strong experience with React Native and a deep understanding of cross‑platform mobile development.
• Proven ability to architect, build, and maintain polished mobile applications.
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, mobile UI/UX, and app lifecycle management.
• Comfortable working with REST APIs, authentication, and state‑management libraries.
• Familiarity with deployment processes for iOS and Android.
