Marketing Intern – Surgical

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Marketing Intern to support its Surgical product line in Mississauga, Canada. This full‑time, summer‑term internship offers hands‑on experience in developing and executing customer‑focused marketing programs within a global eye‑care leader.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of multiple marketing projects from concept to delivery.
• Analyze market dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
• Provide strategic input for customer marketing plan creation.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and approve marketing collateral.
• Assist in day‑to‑day sales management of the Surgical portfolio.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited university.
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce or a related field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8/4.0.
• Demonstrated leadership through extracurricular activities or projects.
• Authorized to work permanently in Canada without sponsorship.
• Available for a full‑time internship from mid‑June to the end of August.

Required skills

• Strong computer skills.
• Project management and detail‑orientation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication (French is a plus).
• Strategic thinking and ability to lead without authority.
