Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

Amrize is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead planned maintenance activities across its plant facilities. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality, safe and cost‑effective maintenance to maximize equipment availability and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental policies on all job sites.
• Review weekly maintenance schedules with the Maintenance and Production Directors and prioritize tasks.
• Assign work to plant mechanics, monitor progress and verify completion.
• Execute and oversee maintenance tasks, emergency breakdowns and major plant shutdowns.
• Optimize task execution, control repair costs and maintain equipment readiness.
• Promote a safety‑first culture and enforce proper use of personal protective equipment.

Required profile

• DEP in Industrial Mechanics, DEC in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technologist or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience supervising mechanical maintenance work.
• Knowledge of labour law, personnel management and plant shutdown procedures.
• Ability to travel up to 10 % of the time.
