About the role

We are seeking a qualified instructor to lead a two‑week supervised training program in structural geology and geological mapping. The program is designed for final‑year students and includes hands‑on field work, the creation of an independent structural map, and the preparation of a detailed report on a selected area.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver classroom and field instruction on principles of structural geology.
  • Guide students through field data collection, mapping techniques, and report writing.
  • Oversee the preparation of independent structural maps and final reports.
  • Ensure safety and proper use of equipment during field activities.

Required profile

  • Post‑graduate degree (MSc or PhD) in Earth Science or a closely related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in geological field work and structural mapping.
  • Ability to supervise and mentor final‑year university students.
