DevOps / DevSecOps Intern

About the role

We are seeking a curious, hands‑on DevOps / DevSecOps Intern to join our engineering team. You will work in a fast‑paced, cloud‑native environment, helping to streamline CI/CD pipelines, improve security, and automate infrastructure on AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Support containerization and orchestration using Docker.
• Assist with AWS infrastructure tasks (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Automate routine operations with Bash or Python scripts.
• Collaborate on version control, branching, and code reviews in Bitbucket.
• Track work, sprints, and releases in Jira and document processes in Confluence.
• Integrate security scanning tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, secret scanning) into pipelines.
• Help triage vulnerabilities, harden Docker images and AWS configurations, and support IAM least‑privilege reviews.
• Contribute to security monitoring, log aggregation, incident‑response runbooks, and compliance documentation.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix command line.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms, especially AWS.
• Exposure to Jenkins, Docker, and CI/CD concepts.
