Associate Trade Marketing Manager (12‑month contract)

About the role

Lactalis Canada is seeking an Associate Trade Marketing Manager on a 12‑month contract to support the Trade Marketing team and divisional leadership. You will help maximise profitable opportunities across an assigned portfolio, aligning with corporate and divisional strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Trade Marketing Manager with financial forecasting, reporting, and commentary on volume, net sales, and margin performance.
• Collaborate with S&OP stakeholders (supply chain, demand planning, sales operations) to resolve forecasting inaccuracies and support production planning.
• Analyse data from TPM, BW, Nielsen and Numerator to identify risks, opportunities and provide actionable insights.
• Maintain trade‑marketing reporting assets such as planogram trackers and monthly KPI dashboards.
• Support pricing strategy development and trade‑spend efficiency initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret commercial performance versus budget and prior periods.
• Effective collaboration skills to act as liaison between Customer Strategy & Development, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Demand Planning.
• Detail‑oriented approach to ensure accurate month‑end validation of pricing and accruals.
• Proactive communication to keep stakeholders informed of forecast changes.
