Training Advisor

About the role

CGI’s Payroll Services Centre in Montréal is seeking a Training Advisor to deliver high‑quality training to internal and external clients. You will help businesses master payroll and human capital management solutions while contributing to a vibrant, award‑winning workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver training on payroll processes, reporting tools, Record of Employment, and HR solutions.
• Apply instructional design models and adult‑learning theories to create blended learning programs.
• Develop and validate training materials such as presentations, participant guides, and trainer manuals.
• Maintain training databases, update content for new system releases, and monitor emerging application features.
• Assess training effectiveness through surveys, call monitoring, and performance analysis.
• Identify training needs, support internal initiatives, and provide application assistance to advisors.
• Perform related administrative tasks.

Required profile

• College or university education in education, andragogy, HR, accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in training, skills development, payroll, or a related area.
• Strong consulting, analytical, and organizational abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in both French and English.
• Creative mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using a learning platform.
• Knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., Nethris, EmployeurD) – considered an asset.
