About the role
The Royal Inland Hospital is seeking Emergency Medicine physicians to join a dynamic, collegial 32‑person group. Both full‑time and part‑time candidates are welcome, with a schedule of 14 shifts per month across emergency and trauma programs.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality emergency care to a busy tertiary centre (≈75,000 visits/year).
- Lead trauma cases as part of the Trauma Team Leader (TTL) program.
- Participate in monthly journal clubs, quality rounds, and trauma rounds.
- Supervise and teach medical students and residents during core rotations and electives.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary specialists across cardiology, neurology, surgery, and more.
Required profile
- Medical degree and licensure to practice in British Columbia.
- Experience in emergency medicine and trauma care.
- Ability to work 14 shifts per month under APP and MOCAP contracts.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
