Application Developer Intern – Full Stack / Cloud / Modern Engineering

About the role

Join IBM Consulting as an Application Developer Intern and work on modern digital solutions for enterprise clients. Over a 4‑month term you will collaborate with architects, engineers, designers and product stakeholders to build web, mobile and cloud applications that drive business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Develop frontend applications using React, Angular or other modern web frameworks.
• Build backend services and APIs with Java, Node.js or related technologies.
• Support cloud‑native deployments using Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in Agile delivery teams, sprint ceremonies and code reviews.
• Create prototypes, proofs of concept and innovative solutions.
• Contribute to mobile or AI initiatives when relevant.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a full‑time post‑secondary program and returning to studies after the term.
• Motivated developer passionate about building modern digital solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
