Senior Production Team Leader – Manufacturing

About the role

Nestlé Canada is seeking a Senior Production Team Leader to drive performance across multiple production lines. You will translate the production plan into daily execution, ensuring safety, quality, cost, delivery and environmental targets are met while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Champion a strong personnel and food‑safety culture by enforcing hygiene and safety procedures.
• Deliver consistent product quality using digital systems and manufacturing instructions.
• Maintain NGMP standards, keeping work areas clean, organized and audit‑ready.
• Drive line performance through operational reviews (SHO, SOR, DOR, WOR) and SDCA routines.
• Accelerate continuous improvement using structured problem‑solving tools such as RCA, KSR and OPL.
• Build and develop a high‑performing team, including training temporary staff.
• Partner with shift teams, Maintenance, Unions and functional representatives to remove barriers and achieve results.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary degree in a technical field.
• 3–6 years of experience in a functional role within the CPG industry (preferred).
• Proven experience managing, engaging and motivating direct reports.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
